A merger that creates a strong, viable business plan based and helps grow the airline with the pilots enjoying an equity stake in the new company. We are not interested in the "synergies" Parker had in mind, which were primarily based on cutting overlapping routes. We would like to see a merger which expands the new company's global reach. A merger where 1+1= greater than 2, not less than 2. I know that will meet with a great deal of cynicism, but it can be done that way.
