Almost all the pilots are refugees from USAir, American, Independence Air, Comair, Eagle and now Maxjet. Oh, I don't know who said we were hiring "foreign" pilots but that is not true. All American as far as I can tell.

I know of 3 pilots that are not US citizens working at VA, there may be more. Not a big deal. They are green card holders . . .

So its definately a good company, in terms of QOL and company treatment.Planning on joining when this contracts up. Right now upgrade time is around a year.
