I overheard in the crew room that the new Delta paint scheme has the Delta logo pointing to the northwest.;)

And the new name takes something from each company. They're going to call it "Delta...Airlines":D

I commute from DTW and that being said, im on NW all the time. I have yet to talk to a NW guy who hasnt said that the merger is a done deal. Perhaps they know something we dont? haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hmmm. what do ya'll suppose that means for ol' KSLC, it seems to me like my home city is a pretty good place for an increase of operations for both companies....

just some wishful thinking.

That's pretty bold of 'em...they're riskin' eating their hats shortly ;)

Keep in mind that Pilots rumor more than any other work group nation wide. Nobody knows if this is a done deal or not (NWA isn't telling management employees anything right now let alone the ones that keep the clock ticking), or if the DoJ will let it go through. If it happens it happens, I personally don't want to see it, but until its done, none of us has any idea.

Gawd I hope so (eating the hat that is). Hope I'll never have to wear it again. I'd rather eat it than wear it. That goes for NWA or DAL hats!:D Seriously though, rumors have been rampant, but it's been pretty quiet for the past few days...that has me bothered! I did hear some FAs practicing their vocabulary in a slow drawl on the bus the other day.;)

Latest rumours from MSP.

Dougie and Richard are hashing out the organizational chart for the managers. They are also hashing out what support operations, i.e. dispatch, training, etc will remain in Minnesota. There are about $500 million reasons for them to appease the state by ensuring jobs and some sort of corp. presence remain in MSP

NWA and Delta MECs and/or merger committes are talking to one and other about seniority integration.
