CAL pilots?

May i ask what your pay protection is?

United now has line guarantee.

We at AA are trying to get protection on our next contract.
At AA we are only pay protected for the last trip in the last 7 days of the month. And if that one cancels you must put yourself on a from of reserve (must accept any trip within the footprint of trip) to be paid. Or go unpaid for the that trip.

Our head of HR reported in the Dallas morning News that "those employees at Continental whom are receiving profit sharing only do so because their employee compensation package is at risk"
I want to Whallop this *+%&* in the editorial comments section.

Thanks 7576 AA FO (15 years)

We are pay protected for cancellations, but they will either reassign you or put you on a reserve day.

And if they give you reserve it is only for a 4 hour call out and you have to done by the original pairing or it is 150% pay. I have never had been put on reserve I have always been released from duty. All 4 times it has happened.
