It was a joke.

A stab at all those that just can't seem to quit at the ripe old age of 60.

You know, 60, the age we all joined this industry thinking was mandatory retirement, and therefore held some promise for us in terms of a built in level of upward mobility.

I signed up knowing full well that age 60 was it! But the European carriers can fly past...... Like a bunch of little kids playing kickball on the playground!
