Thanks everyone for the great info. Is it reasonable to expect IOE out of the domicile you select, or can it be random?

Doesn't really matter. They will get you there via deadhead if they want you to fly your IOE out of another base.

Bad sticker ideas might include: Hillary 08!, Limp Bizkit, My Union Speaks for Me, Macintosh apple logo, I (heart) my wife, or anything referencing the New England Patriots.

What about a sticker that says: "Run Hillary Run"
for use on front bumper only

I sure hope that qualifies as good taste!

Guys, great thread. A few more questions. I see most folks fly in their sig others Saturday for the dinner Monday night. Do we have any DAL obligation on Sunday and does our sig other come with us Monday morning for a company/benefits brief? Thanks and see you all on the third. BTW, I would assume that if the schoolhouse is already running at near max capacity that raising the class size from 30 to 50 would lengthen the time between indoc and sim start. Any thoughts from those of you in the know.

More than likely, but there have not been many going to the 88. I would expect to see that in the next few classes. So maybe there will not be a huge break.

You can have your spouse fly in pretty much whenever you want, but realize that you have to accomplish an out-and-back jumpseat trip on your assigned aircraft (for at least one leg) over the weekend. As mentioned in other threads, you can schedule your flights whenever you desire. If you leave early Saturday morning, you can probably be back as early as noon, but most people got back to ATL in the afternoon or early evening. Most of our class flew on Sat, but some waited until Sun. It's your choice. As far as your schedule goes, Monday will not have any briefings geared toward spouses. It is set up jut like the other days of indoc.

As of two months ago, the jumpseat trip was not required until between your 200 and 300 series, so you aren't staring blankly at the airplane, wondering what all the cool switches do

Most people go home for the weekend in Indoc and bring their spouse on Sunday back to ATL and send them home on Tue morning. They will set up the positive space tickets on Tue or Wed of the first week of Indoc.

Welcome to Delta

Things have changed since HVY went through. The jumpseat trip during the middle weekend of indoc is now MANDATORY.

Not the case, DAL will increase their hiring and send training out of ATL. Awesome for those lucky enough to get it since hotel will be paid for...
