Default Which airlines offer bases in Southern Ca?

Also, how hard would it be for a new-hire to get?

Delta, United, and American have LAX bases. AA has many still on furlough, of course. UAL has sent new-hires or nearly-new hires to LAX, and Delta has sent a handful of newbs to LAX as well.
