Not to sound like a Di@k but I have to laugh. Freight that would be left on the ramp will just be put on the freighters and passengers will be put on the airplane at the very next gate.

Saying you'll support and actually supporting it is two different things.
I am guessing Shaggy1970 is a furloughed AA pilot..... just a guess.
on a side note, I am just to blame as well. Durning the NW strike we were carrying their passengers while they fought with management. Sure I told the jump seater "great job" and "fight the fight". But really those are just words and nothing else. Did ALPA tell all pilots to park airplanes durning the NW strike? NO they did not. We need to all be "one" and "not" just a bunch of fractional groups of one.

Sorry, this is just my frustration towards the industry. CrAApy work rules, crAApy pay, concessionary contracts, sub contract flying, furloughs, stapling, age 65, and anything else I missed.
It is not industry or career it once was and it will never get back to what it was either. This makes me sad and very frustrated as I sit though my "midlife crises" with nothing to really show for.

contracts gutted
handing flying to the regions
you would think pilots would try and do something different but they continue doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. I don't believe we have seen the bottom yet...
