Jumpseating Out Of HNL?

I realize that all the planets will probably have to align, but:

Does any out there have any recent experience jumpseating out of HNL to the west coast? With regard to scheduled passenger carriers, I am concerned with any special rules/procedures that I would want to learn about ahead of time and not as I was standing there at the gate (i.e. waitlisting ahead of time, uniform required, etc...). Also, what cargo carriers (other than Fedex who I know about) might be a good possibility?

My goal would be to get to SEA, PDX, LAX or OAK, in that order.

Thanks for any help...

Kalitta does it, go to thier website, it has the schedules. Atlas/Polar may, but I think the plane that does LAX to HNL comes back from the orient via HKG.

FX does do OAK, at least they used to. But I'm not sure if THEIR procedures warrant that as INT'L js'ing. Meaning it's not a viable option.

Just to clarify, FX considers it domestic?

The reason I'm asking is that there WAS a time when the pax carriers considered it int'l for JS'ing purposes, and CAL even considers it int'l even for passriding purposes.

Flight 1800 to OAK is a domestic flight number. But, please call j/s admin for verification.

Is SFO not an option? I'm gonna try SFO to HNL on United later this week. Looks like planes are pretty full though due to spring break.
