NWA Interviews cancelled?????
 

I heard this rumor today. Anyone with any info. I have an interview scheduled for this week, and I have not heard anything from NWA.

They sent out an email stating all should complete apps by today. Another thread also has info about classes being moved back. Check there for details. Sound like the doors are closing!

Late comer here, maybe. I filled out the initial portion of the online app last night. This morning I checked my e-mail and NWA gives me the link to the rest of their application. Filled that out and I guess I'll see if I made the window or not.

Probably something else. No need to hire if you are going to merge.

They are still interveiwing, and hiring into a pool.

Have 7300 TTL with 2300 PIC and over 1000 jet pic in regionals...received my thanks but no thanks letter saying I wasn't competitive? wow!

Those are very competitive numbers - I just think they are going to see what plays out out on the merger front before hiring a lot more pilots, which makes sense.

So did you interview or was that the response after the application on line? Also what company are you currently at? I have heard the arent calling Pinnacle. fwiw Good luck its probably just because of the merger rumors on the horizon.

Why not? I have 4 friends from 9E that are all on the 75/76 JFK.

I think superpilot meant NW isn't calling 9E folks for interview. I don't think he meant DL (at least a dozen of us post-9E folks here at DL now:).

Um, dude, the merger hasn't happened YET. After it does, THEN I guess you could say that friends of yours were hired at NORTHWEST. But at that time they interviewed and got hired, it was called DELTA.

I was at NATCO for some sim training the past two weeks and there are still black/blue suiters with red ties, roaming the hallways...I doubt that'll be the case much longer...If you don't have a class date with a major, I don't think you will be flying for them in '09...that's just my guess...although when oil goes back down to $30 a bbl (like it was in '01), they'll all hire again, haha!!!
