Questionnaire of maybe interest for you as well
 

I am student at the University of the West of England in Bristol and in my final 4th year of Aerospace Systems Engineering. I would like to ask you to fill out a questionnaire that is part of or actually basis of my Master Thesis. It is not used for any profit or commercial reason.

The questionnaire is about human error and tries to identify aircraft type specific problems on the flight deck that can lead to accidents. It addressed to airline pilots or professional general aviation pilots, experienced with modern “glass” cockpits. Glass cockpit means equipped with an EFIS, a FMS/FMGS, and eventually an EICAS/ECAM.

I will prepare a separate analysis of the results and gladly send it to everyone that is interested and who drops me a short email (my address is given in the questionnaire). I think the results can be of interest for all of you in a way that you can find out what other pilots think of the same and other aircraft and what problems they see with any feature or design.

As the short introduction states again, the time to compete the whole questionnaire is about 14 minutes. Since not everyone can afford this much time, it can be reduced to less than 5 minutes by only answering the few mandatory questions marked with *. I am happy and deeply grateful for every entirely filled out questionnaire, but each additional opinion is very valuable to me. It is important though, to get through to the end of questionnaire for it to be counted as completed.
