You are reading anger into every post. Check your very own tone FliFast!
Think about your tone when someone posts something inaccurate?
You posted something inaccurate.

And FliFast your tone is alway TwAArogant. Like that, I just made that up. I think.

To answer your question as to where ALPA was; they were in bed with APA during this timeframe trying to schmooze them over into membership prior and after the TWA buyout announcement at which point was suddenly stopped yet a secret PO Box remained open. Of course, this will come out in the court trial. Stay tuned! To say the least, the depositions are very revealing.

I'll never know whom was in bed with whom.
What lawsuit is this?
Sincerely.
It's been over 7 years since AA bought TWA.

My seniority date, thanks to you and your union that you "dont have a say in", June 10, 2001.

You forgot to mention in contract 2003' - no furlough protection and 1890 TWA pilots lost their jobs, as a NAAtive pilot you forgot to mention that because it doesn't affect you.

If you don't like it at American, then leave. There are plenty of furloughed TWA pilots wanting your spot.

The furloughs you speak of in 2003. Are you suggesting that furloughs should have been out of seniority?
It's true, I had no say in the TWA pilot integration. There was no survey.
It was between ALPA and AA and APA.
I think very highly of TWA the former airline.
I think very highly of TWA pilots and have met many and have flown with 2.
Yes, the seniority integration was handled poorly. To say the least.
I thought the TWA pilots had already had their day in court.
Had TWA been a stronger airline perhaps ALPA might have done more or fought harder for pilot seniority integration. But with Carl Icahn on it's back it was impossible.

For you to say it doesn't affect me is blatantly wrong.

FliFast 05-17-2008 06:14 AM

Want some music, with that two-step.

If you truly think the integration was handled poorly, then don't bring it up. ALPA had nothing to do with this thread, but you had to throw in that jab, didnt ya.

Priceless,

FF.

7576,
Sir, where in this thread or my postings did you come up with this?
Seriously, your constant anger at anyone NAAtive at AA is exactly as bad as "some" that bash to use your term "Redtails"

If my memory serves me correctly (and that's a stretch), but the APA was not fond of the acquisition of TWA. All I asked you was where was ALPA?
You had a Union. Your Union was supposed to represent you.

FliFast,

Don't even go there man. You're the one that decided to turn this into yet ANOTHER AA-TWA bash fest. Just read your own first post:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any history of a sickout at American ???

Yes...sickout over the Reno Air integration leading to a $45 million judgement against the APA that was somewhat forgiven by AMR during contract 2003'.

If my memory serves me correctly (and that's a stretch), but the APA was not fond of the acquisition of TWA. However as terms to agree with AMR, the APA was able to award their pilots with longevity credit for years on furlough, free reign to integrate the TWA pilots any way they wanted, and forgiveness on some of the $45 million judgement as a result of the sickout.

AAny of my NAAtive AAmerican friends like to clAArify this.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

So why did you bring up TWA in this thread? This topic is about sick harassment - not previous integrations/mergers/acquisitions. What does sick harassment have to do with TWA?

You sit here accusing 7576FO for "aarogance", yet you are clearly the provoker here. Stick to the thread topic, please. You want the bull, you get the horns.

Thanks,
73

FliFast 05-17-2008 04:46 PM

I understood that the APA was given forgiveness for the sickout judgement if they agreed to the acquisition, that's why Aa73. Can't get any more on point than that, aa73. THATS what sick harrasment has to do with the acq. of TWA. 45 million reasons.

Judgment was for the sickout...thats the topic of the thread...did you miss that. The previous post even asked if there was a history of it at American...yes your union was taken to court and lost. Sorry that you two are still sore over that.

I even gave you guys a chance to clarify in a non-threatening way. It's obvious that that was a mistake. Calling you two my NAAtive friends was my second mistake.

Where ? Every posting of yours is "just how bad it is to work for AMR". Be lucky you have a job given the state of affairs and be lucky you weren't furloughed after 9/11 like the tens of thousands that were.

Plenty, plenty of airman out there in the work world have the same exact experience as you and do the same exact job as you, and they are unemployed or make a fraction of what you make.

Seriously, quit yer' whining. If you don't like it, I know a few regionals that are hiring.

And yes, 7576, If you received the same deal we received, you would be angry too...even you admited that.

aa73, why dont you ask your pal what ALPA has to do with sick harrassment ? Nothing.

Your posting show little validity and quantities of bias.
