Sshh. This is a primary reason why general aviation jet air transportation is enjoying such a huge boom. People who can afford to do so can proceed directly to their aircraft uninhibited by the security bottlenecks at the commercial air terminal. It is not uncommon that the aircraft owner or passenger will be able to drive right up to the aircraft to load/unload luggage.

I was trying to make the point that ANYONE could do this.
Think of any GA pilot, they just pull the rental car right up to the plane.

This would be an easy thing for anyone to do.

The saddest part of the article is Perry Cooper's response.

This typical, "never going to happen to me" response is the recipe for the next 9-11 type event.

I'm trying to say that this is a HUGE hole in airport security, there are many smaller airports that are have a large GA community and commercial airlines flying at the same time. Jacksonville and Little Rock for example.
