Hopefully, less greedy managers will prevail...but I think we all know better.

And you know whats the worst part? is not even about being greedy. Is just them being A*holes........is not like they are giving up revenue or anything. They just like to have bargain chip to use against the pilot group (a stuped one by the way)

I know some pilots that J/S or have J/Sd with AA and they are angry at AA for them being so complicated about the J/S and are not very happy to let AA J/Seaters ride with them (although they still let them). I think it's unfair to give someone a hard time just because his/her company's policy. Like aa73 said, it's not the pilot group, it's managment A*holes.

No sweat, if it were up to me everyone would ride unlimited. Let us know how the ZED fare thing works out. Have fun in SA, I will be heading there for the first time next week (EZE.) Hasta luego!

Total control of the jumpseat is on APA's contract proposal, which was just trash canned by AA management last week.

We've (APA) has been working on this a long time.

I'm sure you're gonna love Buenos Aires. It's one of my favorites cities. It's like a piece of Europe mixed up with the Argentinian culture. There's no way you can get bored in that city. I'll be going there soon too. (I'll jumpseat with Delta though hahaha) Enjoy your trip !

Yeah I know you guys are doing your best.....I can't believe how managment is turning such a great airline in another UAL (no offense to UAL guys)...... AA was one of my dream jobs, but now......I don't even know what to dream for. Just keep bitting the dust at the regional level for now I guess......

I'll let you know guys how it goes with the trip. I hope the gate agent and captain are ok and help me out a bit.
