How bad is the damage?

All the reports of the TA between Northwest and the pilots leave out the details. They have taken 39% so far right? How bad is the new language?

It's pretty bad. The "Newco" has been replaced with "S" jet and the details are not pretty! 100 76 seat cabin class aircraft with flow up and down but no job (furlough) protection for current NWA on property. Sounds like DC9 replacement to me.

So this "S" would be a new company of 100 76 seat airplanes flown by any NWA pilot and they can bid back and forth or is it 100 airplanes with an "S" type payscale added to NWA's fleet?

If this is a new company would eventual new hires be NWA or just "S" employee's?

If these 100 airplanes aren't part of NWA it sounds like they would eventually be about 1000 pilots smaller.
