Hank Krakowski, former UAL now FAA speaks
"I worked at United and we hired people off the street all the time .”
Yup, from the drive-through window to the cockpit of a Boeing Bus. This is one of many comments that this former UAL pilot, now FAA leader, has made to congress concerning issues with air traffic controller hiring.
I'm not sure what kind of guy he was to fly with, but like any FAA manager, he'll spout whatever trash to promote the company line.
Any time you guys at UAL want him back, he's all your's.

Little Booby Stoogehill is former UAL, B75/76. I think he was there 6-9 years, can't remember. I do, however, remember what an *ss kicking he got at his administrators hearing in the congress. Let's just say he won't be removing the "acting" out of his administrator title anytime soon. But he may somehow get a deal like former administrator Blakey got; a little $600k per year desk somewhere after just weeks earlier awarding a 1.8 BILLION dollar contract to her new cronies.
Here's the whole comment from Hank:
“safety is in my DNA. To have an influx of less experienced people into the industry is not threatening. I worked at United and we hired people off the street all the time.”
