Default Go-Arounds are a dangerous flight Maneuver

According to this press release by the Associated Press. This maneuver which all pilots have done in their careers and training cirriculum is apparently a dangerous maneuver that some would like to see never be used in the airline flight environment. Check out the link below and share your experiences about whether this is a dangerous maneuver or not.

I don't know who is worse...the crybaby who wants his 15 minutes of fame or the media for reporting this.
Let's kidnap this baby and strap him into a plane flying into MSP all day and see how long it takes him to die from all the go arounds

I was once on a cruise ship that lost a bow thruster while docking. Maybe I should have called CNN and my lawyers!

What does this senseless idiot want....................that ALL landings are committed regardless of the circumstances ?

The day we allow unknowledgeable and frightened passengers to dictate air carrier operations and procedures is the day we go back to horses and buggys.

I sent the AP a nasty-gram. That report was beyond inaccurate and bordering of fraud. Notice there were no pilots interviewed? My guess is that they couldn't find one who wouldn't blow their story out of the water.

Yes, I guess it would be better if you would always land and never go around I cannot believe that these people even air some complete totally non-sense like that, maybe their isn't anything else going on in the world so they have to come up with this ...........................

I wonder if there isn't any legal action you can take against such non sense, freedom of speech is one thing, but opening your mouth just to heard

At least the guy will be marked as a moron for the rest of his life

Hmmmm... Let's see.. Burn to death in the plane becuase you had a collision on the runway or endure a go-around. Tough one. I agree, that passenger is an idiot.
