Default JetBlue: $7 for pillow/blanket combo

And the lattest fee.....

JetBlue will begin offering pillow/blanket combo packs on flights over 2 hours. They're an eco-friendly material that resists dust mites, etc. Article doesn't say if they're "yours to keep for future JetBlue fights". Personally, I bring my own pillow. Not that terrible considering they still give you free TV, XM Radio and snacks.

Well maybe it is getting out of hand. However it isn't the crappy pillow and blanket that you would get for free anyway, it is a nicer kit that you get to keep.

The funny thing is that all the airlines are becoming like the late Skybus

If I do end up buying one of these kits, I will flush it down their toilet before I leave the plane.

Just saw it on the news. It's for flights over 2 hours and if you pay the $7, you get a voucher at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, for $5.

To each his own....

It was out of hand when fares weren't raised to cover higher costs.

Funny how the average American sees a $400 fare and says NO WAY! Then they see a $250 fare with $150 worth in extra charges and doesn't seem to mind.

Because they've come to expect the $150 in extra charges anyway, so they'll think the $400 ticket is really $550. And the way they're getting nickel and dimed, I can't blame 'em.
