Was commuting when this was happening! I look over see an american (I thought was a 757) pointed east on runway 25r/7l. Next thing I see is doors opening, slides deploying, people running away from plane and tons of fire trucks rolling! I got a lot of pics after the people were off.
Anyone know what happened?

Ch2 website says smoke and fumes 'haze' in the cabin, right after take-off.

The Emirates A380 had to hold prior to its maiden arrival at LAX because of the AAL emergency.

I believe the A380 got to make an inaugural landing @ Ontario, CA due to the south side closure.
