Default Question for SWA newbies

What is the outlook of your first year or so? Will it be on reserve at the junior base or is there hope for holding a line at other domiciles?

Thanks
C9

I believe we've got classes scheduled monthly (2 per??) for the rest of the year. My guess is that you'll be able to hold a line in OAK after a few months, hold RSV in LAS after a month or two or PHX after 1-3 months. Don't expect anything east of there for 6-9 months. Of course, who the hell knows with this industry..

I agree...If you stay out west you should be able to hold a line in a few months if they keep on running classes. Anything out East is 1+...I have been here for a year and am barley holding reserve in MCO...BWI is senior to MCO and I think MDW is as well...If you are a west coast guy, life is good a whole lot sooner...If you are here now or will be soon Welcome!

Things have changed quite a bit in a short time. You used to get BWI right out of training.

Well, the propsed plan was to hire 400=500 this year and 400+ next year, will this help getting back to HOU within a year?

HOU is going surprisingly junior. You should have no problem with that.

MainSail rocks.

2 cardinal rules. 1. Don't steal the golf cart.
2. Don't let the neighborhood ducks into the bar.

Sad but true storys.

Are those mostly from retirements, or growth? That seems like a lot to me for only 14 new planes.
