SWA PIC Mins Change

I was just informed today that the PIC- Turbine minimums for Southwest is now 1300 hrs, up from the previous 1000 hrs.

This may be since they are running low on type rated applicants.

Just got off the phone with the People Dept. and confirmed this information. I was told that it was done to better reflect the qualifications that people have that are getting called to an interview. More applicants are getting called without the type but the ones with the type rating still have the advantage .....about 65%. The Southwest.com website will be updated in the next couple of days to reflect the new qualifications.
