Looks like Spirit did pretty well. Still some ~145 pilots are furloughed. Wow great way of doing business.

of course they're making money. They stopped paying lease payments on 8-10 aircraft plus the furloughed guys.

Look for advertisements posted on window shades, tray tables and overhead bins. Another "revenue generator".
Hope this company is REALLY making money so we all get recalled soon. Really don't feel like packing and heading to the Middle East in December.

I know already 3 guys who barely started with Spirit (furloughed now) and will not come back. They have gone to better things and my hats to them. I am sure they are not the only ones...

That's what I don't understand. Aviation in the US is in the toilet and I'm hanging on to this job by my fingernails. At the same time I'm receiving unsolicited emails from contract companies offering DEC jobs all over the world with decent T & C. What's wrong with this picture?
