And while none of their pilots taxi like I do when I'm on the Miller-leg and trying to catch my flight home, I don't see any dawdling by their crews. I do occasionally chide them for taking 40 years to set their altimeters correctly, however.

What do you mean about taking too long to set their altimeters correctly?
I'm just curious.

Yeah, I fly for AA. I didn't realize he was being sarcastic, and wrong.

You mean you prefer QFE ops to QNH?

I do not think j1b3h0 was being sarcastic as much as humorous.
Quite a clever joke really and it demonstrates a good knowledge of the airline indusry!

and it demonstrates that i have completely lost my sense of humor.

I am off to U-Tube to see if I can find my funny bone.

BTW, did anyone see the UTube where a 757 takes-off with the CA window open? Pretty interesting.

As far as the ex TWA pilots response above, it is interesting how people only remember the good things about their previous employer. They remember none of the bad stuff.

My comment had nothing to do with TWA. No employer is perfect but my point still stands. I can only speak for the 7 years that I worked at TWA. We may have had some financial trouble but never had to deal with management crap like whats going on there.
