888 933-5922 Last I heard (this year) they want you to call this number. I haven't used it myself but it probably wouldn't hurt to follow through.

You will want to call and list yourself. On the main telephone prompt it is option 3.

Like any other airline, the gate agents are hit or miss. The ones in AUS are great, DFW they really don't seem to care to much about offline jumpseaters.

The AA crews have been exceptional going above and beyond making sure I get on.
