Gentlemen, ALPA merger policy states: A. preserve jobs B. No windfalls C. Maintain same or better pay D. Maintain same or better status E. Preserve career expectations. No mention of "date of hire" anywhere in the policy. Secondly, UAL's junior captain was hired in 5/97.
