Not sure if this was covered, but the merger contract, what do the pilots get with that besides the shares? Any raises(restoration)?

Am I the only one who thinks that the new DAL livery created by Richard Anderson (pre-merger) was done solely for the purpose of the merger? The tail is pointing to the Northwest ... iconic of the NWA tails.

Yes, the NWA guys were brought up to DAL's current 01-01-08 pay rates the day after DCC. 01-01-09 we get a 5% bump and then it is 4,4,4% each Jan1 there after.

I was in ATL for training when the new livery was introduced. It was indeed designed to incorporate our NWA brethren. The intent was to pay homage to both legacies.

The 777-300ER, with 365 paxs with 3 classes, can go the same distance.

The 777-200LR with 301 paxs goes 9000 miles.

Two engines is better than four !!! The 747-400 is a gas guzzler. It is history !!!
