More like survival... Load factors pretty low.

Hope they last until Aug., I've got 2 tickets on them the latter part of July.

My cheap seat from EGSS to KJFK too.

Things are going great at MXJ(maxjet) -first sold out flight last week- oversubscribed by investors- hope to hire again soon

More power to you guys. Seems like a great deal that has to catch on... and I am sure it will.

There are some expat boys flying out of EGSS wondering if there are any deals to be had for them? They don't need the food or drink... just a cheap seat to the US.

DAL767--Are you flying for MaxJet? If you are I would like to write to you. /Thx REDWAVE:eek:

Another one chiming in here to say that everything I have seen about them behind the scenes from the financial side is fairly positive so far. They have the right product at the right price, customers have reacted (not overly so, but sufficiently) and the competition has not reacted (a very good thing).

Like many that have come before them, their fate has more to do with the reaction of the competition than what they do.

I am sure the DCA will do equally well. The train from EGSS to Liverpool Station runs about every 15 to 20 minutes and takes about 45 minutes. The tube from EGLL to downtown London takes about 35 minutes. Either way much better and cheaper than a taxi from EGLL or EGSS. But there is no one, noway, no how can anyone beat Maxjet's business class airfare to London. Maxjet has to be the first choice.

Also taxi times in EGSS are a fraction of that in EGLL too.

Yeah, but Stansted is so much farther away than Heathrow. Now instead of the tube you can take a British Rail train, just like Stansted, but instead of
:45 minutes, it only takes :15 minutes to London-Paddington. For business travellers, Heathrow is still closer, and offers MANY more connections.
