Nope.........I got out at $8.49..............bought at $8.05, so I made a few dollars (VERY FEW :p )...........today I see LUV is already at $7.96. Ugh......what's up with that? Do you have some information that might sway me to buy???? ;)

No man, I told ya to stay away from that crap! I bought DAL at 8.53 and it is at 11.29 right now, may ride it a little longer with a stop limit. When you first posted, CAL was a little over 10.00. Now 16.00!

LCC moved from $4.48 to $7.30 in the same span, up over 60%!

DAL, CAL, AMR, LCC . . . all the legacies are up over 30% since the thread was started. The biggest winner . . . MESA! Who knew?

So much for fundamentals....LUV is in a wicked downtrend, while LCC,DAL, AMR have all had nice pops the last few months...

Never invest in airline stocks, only trade them ...and if you dont know how to trade, dont do it.You wouldnt want a plumber flying your a/c would you ??

Why? This stock has done nothing but plummet for the last year. Down to $1.50 with nothing of note to recommend buying it. :confused:

I sold DAL at $11.11 and bought LUV at $7.50 two days later. Right now SWA's at $7.30 so i'm wishing I waited another day, but I expect to double my money by the time 2009 is over. Id rather sell it asap and jump back on DAL when/if it drops to $8 again next year, but ive always thought LUV was a very good stock to own. At $7.50 per share i feel like I got it for a steal.

I'm jumping in again - already sold it when it bounced around mid-eights. Unless the market tanks Monday, it's going up again (for a day or two.):rolleyes:
