How close are you to the top of the list?? I bet it takes 70 or more phone calls to get the 35 recalls for January.

Are they talking about recalling anymore in the future? It would be a good time to hedge fuel, or sell tickets for 49 bucks I guess.

I'm very fortunate. I have a job. Some of my classmates are in bad shape, so I would love to see a recall for their sake.

I have not heard any names yet - but they have said that all 35 717FO vacancies in JAN will be filled by recalls - Have your friends/classmates been called yet?

The final for Vacancy Notice 09-01 had the following attached to it.

Vacancy Notice 09-02 will be issued on January 12th, 2009, in the February bid package, and is expected to include
vacancies for all four crew classes (approximately 60 total). This is expected to result in approximately 40 more
pilot recalls. Please note that these projections are subject to change.

So does that mean 75 total recalls? 35 for Jan and 40 for Feb, or is it 40 total?

I'm right around 100 on the list of 140(ish). Won't be called back for awhile, I suppose.

Good to hear some information coming out from the grapevine, though.

Out of curiosity, what are some of the furloughed Citrus guys and gals doing in the interim?

I am in the AT "pool", but not sure what I'll do if/when I get the call.
