AAflyer When I thought that my absence would make it better for you, I changed my mind. :D FF |
Thanks a lot for your kind answers. I have just one more big question. I am doing an analysis of one big airline for the University, and I chose American Airlines, that's why I ask so many things about their operations and their HHRR related topics.
I have looked in the net for quite a long time to find these numbers, but I haven't been able to find them anywhere, so I can't do anything apart from asking for some help here. I apologize for that... I would like to know how many captains there are for each base and equipment. I ask for captains because I suppose that the total number of pilots will be around the double of it. So, what I need is... AA: DFW 737: DFW 767: DFW 777: DFW M80: ORD 767: ORD 777: ORD M80: MIA AB6: MIA 737: MIA 767: MIA 777: STL 767: STL M80: LAX 737: LAX 767: LAX 777: LAX M80: LGA AB6: LGA 767: LGA 777: LGA M80: BOS 767: BOS M80: DCA 737: DCA M80: SFO 767: SFO M80: AE: DFW ATR: DFW ERJ: DFW CRJ: ORD ERJ: ORD CRJ: MIA ATR: SJU ATR: LAX ERJ: LGA/JFK ERJ: Apart from that, just a last question and I swear I will have everything I need. More or less, how many hours are pilots flying in a duty period since they start until they finish that period? I don't mean the total hours of the month line, but only the maximum hours for the duty periods that are in that line. I don't know if I you understand what I mean. A big thank you for your help :) |
AA folks:
Any FO base seniority info, or is that too complex with all the aircraft types? RB |

Average depends on type of trip (day trip, 2day, 3, 4), but I would guess most are 5hrs/day scheduled flight time. |
Thanks a lot for all your useful information Flyby1206 :)
If someone could tell me data about AA it would be great. Thanks a lot again!! |
