Does your home life matter more?
I have seen too many guys who appear to be trading their quality of life at home for "quality of life at work". I'm talking about $$$$$$$$.
I love flying. I like aircraft and I like the people I work with. That said, I work to live. I do not live to work. The reason I work is to make $$$$ to give my family a life. They get no utility from any "perks' I have while I'm working. I don't get excited about shiny new planes or perks on the job. I need $$$$$. We need to get back to the $$$$$$$. JJ |
I second that!

I choose home and sitting reserve v/s a line and international. I would prefer to sit at home, bid reserve v/s commute and work.
Plan on working hard in the summer, but the rest of the year I find living in base and bidding reserve to be fairly enjoyable. |
I work to live, not live to work.

Invest in your first wife, invest in your children and their education, live like a first officer all your life, and all the rest will be farting through silk.

JJ Are you talking about concessions just so that you can keep your job? |

There is nothing wrong with making money...there is something wrong when you "lust" for money. Be careful brother or sister...don't fall in the lust category because you might bite off more than you can chew. Not saying that you are lusting for money, but you statement walks very close to that line.
