I fly for CHQ but I am also a PA. In the office today, my manager asked me why the media is making such a big deal over SUlly and not the rest of the crew. She thinks that is wrong. I told her that its not the medias fault, I think the CAPT should say something about it!

I'm sure he will give credit to his crew when he does make a national TV appearance. Right now im sure he is being told not to say much by the NTSB, USAir, and his union..

You shouldn't be so hasty to pass judgement. Sully has put the rest of the crew before himself everytime he has made a statement. The Press is the culprit here. They just want a hero and don't understand CRM.

I read that he declined an interview based on a conflict with the investigation. Now that interview has been scheduled for early February, I assume with the NTSB and ALPA's blessing, and he specifically stated it would be with the entire crew. I'm looking forward to it.

It is the medias fault and Captain Sullenberger has given credit to the crew in every single statement he has made. Anyone who as ever had to deal with the press knows the press prints what they want, not everything you say.
