Looking for a photo ....
There's an old photo of a bi-plane that crashed into a tree with the caption reading "Aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous, but to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness ......"
Or something like that. Anyway, does anyone know where on the internet that can be found? I'm teaching a private pilot ground school course and would love to use the photo. Thanks :) |
My father has that in his bar...PM me and I'll send you a digital picture if you want. He also had the 1st iteration of CAB flying rules for pilots dated 1919 or something like that...
Wish I knew where he got it but he passed away a few two years ago while flying over the gulf of mexico. _LA |
