Is Delta changing the MD-90 missions
For a long time I only saw Delta MD90s flying primarily out of KSLC and KDFW(before the hub was closed) But as of late I have seen more and more of them on the east cost. In October I flew one from LGA-CVG, one from ORD-ATL, and on Thursday I will be on one from CHS-ATL. Is the MD90 taking over some of the MD88 missions........not complaining if they do:)

Yes, we now have the CVG 88 base a 90 base as well. They will also be working out of MSP to both coasts here in the near future.

More are coming from China Eastern as well by the end of the year...

Yes, about 26 or so.

Mostly China Eastern or some Saudi airplanes too? I saw they're parking their -90's or will be in the near future and I think they have the largest MD-90 fleet in the world...something like 25 airframes?!?

You won't see any new bases until March-ish 2010. But, they are coming.
|
Yep, that is what I am hearing too.
