Sure because 717's contain the number 7 which can be achieved by taking 2+3+2. And the numbers 2 & 3 make up the number 23 which relates back to when DALPA . . . .

Actually 2+3+2 would work since any Boeing -200 product ordered by DAL would be a 232 :)
