Default ATC and TFRs

Somebody help settle a bet. I know we have ATC guys on this forum. So....If ATC vectors u through a TFR....Is there a guilty party....and if so how does the guilty party get caught??? Is there a specific FAR I can reference???

I am an ATC guy, for security reasons we can't really discuss the TFR's depending on what they are for. But I will tell you if it is a true TFR that ATC shall not vector you through it unless it was approved by someone. As far as getting caught, we are not the only ones watching the TFR.

§ 91.3 Responsibility and authority of the pilot in command.
(a) The pilot in command of an aircraft is directly responsible for, and is the final authority as to the operation of that aircraft.

Mistakes DO happen, however; it behooves us not to point fingers.

Thus, the pilot being so vectored is absolved of any guilt?
