Why does it require my email? Smells fishy...something is rotten in Denmark.
Its merely a way to check that the same people don't answer the survey more than once, and also to give an address to email if you select the option to help with more surveys from the same site in the future (they won't contact you if you select the 'no thanks' option). BUT instead of using your email address you can type a random name in the box and it will work just fine, as long as someone else hasn't used the same name previously, in which case just make up another one!
By the way, thanks to everyone who has taken the survey so far, your answers are like gold dust to me so it really is appreciated!!:)

I wish all surveys were that brief! I would be interested in reading your findings, if you're willing to share.

Thanks for that, yes having filled in a few surveys myself I know what a pain they are when they go on forever, so it was a conscious decision to keep it as brief as possible while still hopefully getting all the data I require.
And yes I certainly will be more than happy to share the findings once I have written it all up and done what I need to do for the University. Afterall the whole point of my project is to help highlight any potential pitfalls and ultimately improve safety - passing on the things to look out for is a big part of this. I for one have learned a lot that I will take into what will hopefully be an airline piloting career, so if i can share any of that then it can only be of mutual benefit. I'll relay the main findings on this thread, watch this space in the coming weeks!
Thanks again to everyone who's contributing!!
