Default Frontier Profit and Loss!

USA Today - Frontier Airlines posts $161M quarterly loss

Bizjournals - Frontier posts 2nd quarterly net profit

Las Vegas Sun - Bankruptcy items drive Frontier Airlines 4Q loss

9NEWS - Frontier reports 2nd quarter of net profits

The Gazette - Frontier loses nearly $161 million in quarter

Denver Post - Operating profit lifts Frontier

Newsday.com - Frontier Airlines reports $161M 4Q loss on bankruptcy items, but had an operating profit

If I opened up the USA Today this morning and read only the title, I would be like "Frontier is not doing so good". On the flip-side, if I opened up the Denver Post and read the title I would be saying "Wow, Frontier made money. They must be doing pretty good".

None of the titles are wrong... but some are misleading. I just have to laugh at the media. USA Today doesn't surprise me-- they never have anything positive to say about any airline except Southwest.

I think this most recent quarter was a very positive one for Frontier. Hopefully they are out of BK soon.

Wow, you read a lot of papers 'bone. Hope that things turn around at the animal, and I'll be calling back soon, I haven't forgot about you.

They will make it, no doubt.

If I remember correctly, there were people on here saying they were going to be out of business this time last year.

Be nice if we could get our birds at RAH back to flying with them. Those 17 planes hurt.

The 170's would probably work a lot better now that oil is down. I would rather see the growth on the mainline side though.

I think they should give back the 10% paycut they made the lynx pilots take.
Then they should raise the payscale for said pilot group..
I agree mainline needs to grow, but, so does Lynx.

Both mainline and Lynx can grow. The beautiful thing is that the Q doesn't compete with the airbus. The pay will hopefully come for both mainline and Lynx shortly after exiting bankruptcy.

One thing is for sure, if you read it here it must be true!

Those 17 planes didn't hurt because they are still flying, albeit in a hurtful way to Midwest pilots. The furloughs came from the sale of the Delta 135's and the return of some CRJ's. We never furloughed based on the 170... BB knew since before the first furlough announcement that the Midwest "deal" was coming.

I know everyone (at RAH) involved with the F9 codeshare enjoyed it, but Frontier just wasn't a good fit for the 170.
