The average Southwest plane carries 19,300 passengers a year, compared with 11,700, the industry average.
The reporter corrected this statement....the correct statement should've read:

The average Southwest pilot carries 19,300 passengers a year, compared with 11,700, the industry average.

Good catch, although it would seem that a SWA pilot flys more than 155 segments per year.
