Looks like a fair starting point and the minimum we should accept. I just hope everyone knows they are worth it. Those rates would be a stabilizer, i think.

Good luck getting that 1:1.4 duty rig...

Start high and bargin. We are in a period of time in which 7,8,9yr FO's will be common place. I really don't care how the number are figured but 60grand before taxes is not bad. Thats equal to 30bucks/hr at a regular job, take home a little under 40grand. Even if we do get some better pay you can count on more of the same BS. No contracts, Give backs, no location pay, I could go on and on.

These payrates look good to me. They most certainly would not bankrupt an airline and they are LIVEABLE...especially for new first officers.

This scale is flawed:

A318/319/320/321 should be the same pay scale.

E175/190 should be the same pay scale as well.

Wow,

Thanks for giving me a paycut!!! Well I guess with your competitive rates team AMR is correct I am overpaid!!:(

I think we have fallen so far these rates look acceptable. If I took our AA 1997 rates and just increased them for cost living they would far exceed your numbers.

Why do we as pilots feel we always have to save the airline. If you took the mistakes all managers at each of our respective airlines has made over the decades they number in the tens of billions, and we the pilots and employees end up subsidizing these mistakes.

We still subsidize the passenger tickets, and a few pilot groups just subsidized fuel last year.

Cutting pay of employees is the easy way out, changing the fundamentals of how an airline is run is the hard part.

pilot pay rates do not bankrupt an airline, poor management decisions do.

Amen. They seem to always be able to find bounus money for themselves new airplane money. When trying to figure out what we deserve to be paid think about just that what we deserve not what you think they can afford. Not even management knows what will bankrupt an airline if that was the case airlines would not go belly up in the first place.

Do the numbers not look reasonable to you?

If not, what would you suggest?
