That was a great pictoral airline history lesson.
I liked the 747 in CAL colors
The "Delta" picture that was actually a "Song" 757 interior.
Comair 2 paint jobs ago.
David Neelman still at jetBlue.
The silver and blue Skywest Brasilia.
And the "Pinnacle" picture of the DAL 737 tail......

YEAAAAAAAAAAA for Pinnacle. Such good performance for being the lowest compensated employees in the industry. Aren't you good ole boys getting sick of this yet? Last few months we haven't even met the performance goals. Hopefully management gets the picture. GIMME MY MONEY

What's so "bogus" about this survey is that WX delays, ATC delays, and 200 mile "traffic patterns" are not included in this. EWR seems to relish it's standing as one of the most delayed airports, and seems to try hard to keep that "prestigious" mark. Sad, isn't it? What's worse though is that the airlines are paying a FORTUNE for our pathetic ATC system, and now it's costing us pilot jobs since we can't make money with 88% load factors. IAH has 45 mile patterns in VFR conditions.....20 mile downwind leg after passing the abeam point, 5 mile base and then 20 mile final. Newark is even worse. After passing over the Jersey shore, it takes 30 minutes to land and you come within 13 miles of the airport. Go figure...... Yeah, no wonder the airlines are losing so much money. If the gov't had to pay for the ATC delays, they'd certainly get shorter. And if Hawaiian can't be #1 with the beautiful WX it flies in all the time, I'd be worried. Put them up in EWR and I'm sure they'd fall to the bottom of the pack.
