Relax! Where in my post did I say anything other than my computer quarantined the virus! For you to insinuate that I was lying...very uncool!!
You asked what it's name was...here it is "JS:downloader-cc"
I have no idea what that is or how it got there of even what it does...it was what my antivirus software found when I tried to log onto the MEC site. Simple as that. Here is a site that explains it (I think):
JS-Downloader-CC Information and Removal.
Again, all I did was state the FACT that when loggin into the MEC message board this trojan horse popped up and was quarantined by my antivirus software. Nothing more...nothing less.
Incidently I'm furloughed!!

Incidentally, I didn't have any issues. Nor did many other people.
I'm not a computer guru so maybe someone else can explain. Can you get a virus/trojanhorse without downloading something. IE; just logging into a forum can give you a virus?
There are very few coincidences and this one seems to be fishy. No matter what I still feel the same way about the goons at ALPA. Maybe we should have put wristband around the forum. That seems to be ALPA's fix-all. Wish I could put one around Wallach's neck.
