A/A Nose Gear ouch.

Anyone know of any particulars here?
Looks as though mx was running some tests when the nose gear retracted/collapsed.
Glad no one was hurt.

The the use of 'jumbo' sounded better than 'heavy' while they were reporting this non-story:D

They're just mixing up "jumbo" and "widebody". Same difference.

That was the second "nose-gear incident" this month... at KSFO, an Aeromexico 737 suffered the same faith while pushing back....nose gear collapsed on them as well. Don't know what happened there, maybe someone forgot the pin??

Aircraft was doing a post maintenance check flight. Upon returning the mechanics had to check one more thing pertaining to the landing gear.... but the pins were not installed.
