Default 2006 Airline Pilot Pay Snapshot

Along with APC's Flash pilot pay comparisons we have also just published our first quarterly pilot pay comparison snapshot, available as a .pdf download.

Click here, and select Pilot Pay Comparisons. This .pdf file will be updated quarterly.

It makes for easy distribution, so feel free to download and forward out via email or print out for your flight bag.

Just another free service for our fellow aviators.

Thanks, surreal.

To all: Should I do one of these for the regional pilots?

Talking The important things

What we need is a catering comparison. Who's got what, what are the criteria for getting it, How many hrs, etc.
Who cares about pay and retirement, tell me when and what I'll eat next.

How about an average pay for each aircraft then list what is the percent difference of each airline from average. I would like to know if I am paid 10% over average or 5% below.

Aloha

Just goes to show that you can't make everyone happy!

We included that info on the beta trails of the pay comparison charts (flash movies) - the responce was "get rid of it" because the deviation from mean didn't include work rules (which you can't compare with hourly rates), benefits , etc.

Still, using the pay comparison charts for each fleet and seat, you could easily find that info.

In addition to guarantee for line and res, I would like to see max. At Alaska your normal max is 85 hours.

Vowell? You never won a spelling bee did you, Paul?

I will do a regional chart like I did for widebody/narrowbody, but should I call it "regional" when there are near-100 seaters out there like the EMB170/175/190 and stretched CRJ flying non-regional routes?

Maybe a new category called "Small Narrowbody?"
