Default How is JetBlue?

If you were to Search 'JetBlue' on these forums, you dont come up with much results. Why so quiet?

It seems to me that JetBlue is where it is at! ... For JetBlue pilots, any of you guys unhappy? You all seem overall satisfied.

JetBlue seems to be healthy. Any rumor of hiring within the next 6 months, or indications of short staffed?

What was JetBlue's flight time hiring minimums when they were hiring?

I'm wondering if that Oakland base is going to come to fruition? It sounded like no last time I talked to a JBlue pilot. I think west coast bases might be real senior with them as well, which is a bummer for me. Also, how is the pay raise coming?

Unless you're an upper seniority Bus CA this place is a stepping stone.

Hi!

"Unless you're an upper seniority Bus CA this place is a stepping stone.
Unless you're unemployed, or you're working for one of the hundreds (thousands) of aviation organizations that are much worse!
I, for example, am in the middle? towards the end? of a trip. So far, my trip has lasted for about 160 days. Kind of long compared with the average Jet Blue Greyhound Bus trip!

Rumor of hiring about 30 late '09-early '10. Pay raises finally coming in October, after 6 months of stall-spin delay tactics. Those will help. Pay/QOL is kinda between a Regional and Legacy. Not a bad place to be but still needs work.
