2012 Swa Forecast
FYI--
Just had EPT and thought I'd pass along some numbers they're giving us. We have firm orders for -700's that will bring us to 763 airlplanes total by 2012. This equates to about 6,000 flights per day. Currently we have 465 airplanes and operate 3,000 flights per day.

Based on the expansion at SWA, what is your view of how SWAPA will approach the section 6 openers with the year? What's the mood on the line - do you think you'll see a proactive approach from SWAPA or a more "traditional" approach?
SWA has one of the better balance sheets and is expanding the network, I'm wondering if labor is wanting higher hourly rates, or more variable income?
Cheers -

I don't believe our pilots would demand or expect a big pay raise in the current industry environment. It seems to me most of our pilots would be very happy if we could keep our current pay rates and not take pay cuts.
