Alaska JS Question....
Having only used AA in 'offline' JSing, I know they have the 888-WEFLYAA for listing via their non-rev line for building a record locator prior to checking in at the gate for the 'offline' JS.
Does Alaska also have a separate non-rev number to call, or do JSer's just call the regular Reservation Line and talk to the operator in building a record locator??
I see the ALA profile says list at Gate/or Ticket counter, but wanted to make sure JSer's did not have to build anything on the phone prior to checking such as AA requires.
Any info would be appreciated.....Thanx - SC

In the past I have just called the normal reservation line and listed as a normal non-rev. You don't have to be listed at all and can just walk up to the gate agent to be listed. There might be a non-rev number, but I don't know of it and my way has worked just fine.

I only call and list if I know I won't be at the gate 30 minutes prior. Sometimes the agents will roll their eyes at you when they ask if you listed and you say no. Make sure you have your pilot's certificate, medical and passport.

Passport is no longer required.

Just call the regular reservation number and they'll create a reservation for you in the system. That way the gate agent has to just check you in rather than create a reservation for you as well as check you in. It makes it much easier and faster for both of you Everytime I have JSed Alaska within the past two months I have been asked for the passport and they DO cross-reference the expiration date in CASS. Bring it just incase.
