Travel Warnings or Alerts

I've got a flight into a Travel Alert area and our company lacks a policy on what is safe. My question is, when do I get paid for dangerous duty? I heard Vision Air was paid extra for trips, but failed to pass that premium pay to the pilots?

The good news is our ALPA contract says I still accrue seniority and longevity if I become missing or interned by a foreign government!

Whats your company policy on flights into Travel Warnings or Travel Alerts?

The Golden Age

One old Pan Am guy told a story of the night, somewhere in Africa, that the Embassy called: "Get your crew out of there now! The rebels are almost at the city limits. Try to cross the border at the river bridge."

For the ALPA guys here's how to get info!

Please sign into the members only portal of the ALPA web; go to Committees; select national Security Committee page. On left hand side, please select WorldWatch and follow instructions. You should be able to get some more info there.
