Regional traffic up, mainline traffic down at

"UAL Corp. says October traffic numbers were mixed, as a 3.8% drop at United Airlines was somewhat offset by a 16.2% jump at regional affiliates such as United Express. Capacity fell 4.3%, leading to planes that flew 83.1% full in October, up from 80.8% in the same month last year." My opinion: UAL making leaps and bounds on the way to becoming the largest consortium of regional carriers. Is there ANYONE out there who thinks giving up scope will benefit pilots? |
