Regional traffic up, mainline traffic down at

From ATA Smart Brief...

"UAL Corp. says October traffic numbers were mixed, as a 3.8% drop at United Airlines was somewhat offset by a 16.2% jump at regional affiliates such as United Express. Capacity fell 4.3%, leading to planes that flew 83.1% full in October, up from 80.8% in the same month last year."

My opinion: UAL making leaps and bounds on the way to becoming the largest consortium of regional carriers.

Is there ANYONE out there who thinks giving up scope will benefit pilots?

Most regional first officers hoping for an upgrade to livable wages as regional captain.

It is what an outstanding 60%+ of the mainline pilots voted for. Enjoy:rolleyes:
