Letters such as this always make me wonder what sort of applicant stats this guy was able to come up with when he got hired.

He'll have to tell me when 'diversity' became 'qualified'...I thought UAL was the benchmark for this fallacy.

It wasn't just UAL, it was the entire political spectrum in this country.

I think they just finally shut a thread down on the Cargo site that started out as a "I got an interview at Big Brown" and ended as an Affirmative Action debate. Can we not go there again? There is no winner in that one...

Well Rob is gone, back to the line. He only lasted a few months. No one is talking. Tom Kemp is our new Chief Pilot. He has a good reputation as a good pilot/instructor/supervisor. I hope he works out.

Full disclosure, I stole my signature (below) from a note on his office door.

Just wondering when "diversity became unqualified"? Diversity accounts for less than 10% of all "major" new-hires. If you didn't make it, take a close inventory of guess who? "YOU!" You are possibly better than the 90% WASP males who were hired, but you'll never know with that pathetic excuse. Are things in America that bad for white folks? I thought it was bad for all of us working people. Lame....Lame....Lame.

It's only because Rob wasn't Ex-Jet America. That makes all 3 top Pilot jobs JA guys now.

Well, it is nice to know that I am not qualified to fly for Alaska Airlines. I'll mark that one off my list. Wait a minute I don't need them or that elitist CP for a job. I have one. 16 years now. What a letter for the ego. His anyway.

Isn't Alaska Air a tobacco free company? Or supposed to be, somehow?
